Based on the premier institute of Vellore, NDTV, the Christian Medical College has left 99 out of 100 chairs in its programme. In accordance with the report, the institute has sought rights contrary to the centralized counselling by a committee set up by the Medical Counselling Committee along with also the state authorities for All-State and India Quota as to pupils who have NEET Exam 2017.
The Principal of the school, Dr Anna Pulimood, was quoted as stating that students are selected by them from all around the nation with concern that was outstanding. NDTV quoted Pulimood as stating, "Many pupils we pick are from a bad background in remote locations and they return and serve in these regions. High marks do not guarantee openness to serve. NEET is accepted by us. As a minority association, we all think we now have the right to select among qualified candidates satisfying our vision."
